In the UK Oracle has just released a new price list and for once it's good news. In line with many US companies it prices it's products and services in USD with local price lists being adjusted to take account of currency fluctuations.
In the UK following the weakness of sterling, we have seen prices increase on a regular basis when Oracle re-sets it's internal exchange rates twice a year.
At the start of March, there was a pleasant surprise with prices for Oracle licenses, support, cloud subscriptions and hardware such as the Oracle Database Appliance falling by approx 10%
